Dr. Sachindananda N, he served a teaching faculty at karnatak institute of medical sciences, Hubli, India where he was an undergraduate and post-graduate teacher, PG guide and university examiner. He later served as a professor of surgery at ESI-PGIMSR Bengaluru.
He is an accomplished teacher, a versatile surgeon with a special interest in GI Surgery, GI Oncosurgery, Particularly esophageal cancer surgeries and minimally invasive surgeries.
He did his fellowship in advanced liver transparent and regenerative medicine at medanta the mendicity, India under Dr. AS Soin. He worked as Associate consultant-liver transparent and hepatobiliary surgery at Yashoda Hospitals, Hyderabad.
He has rich experience in complex hepatobiliary surgeries, resection treatment for cholangiocarcinoma, primary liver cancers and pancreatic tumors.
He is well versed with management of acute liver failure, medical management of chronic liver diseases and their complications, preoperative assessment, and evaluation of a patient with acute liver failure/chronic liver disease for a liver transplant.
He is involved with more than 600 liver transplant surgeries both living and cadaveric liver transplants with a success rate at per with international standards. He is also well versed with the management of post-liver transparent patients
